United States. Actega, a manufacturer of coatings, inks, adhesives, sealants and specialty composites for the printing and packaging industry, announces plans to open a new 238,000-square-foot facility in Kings Mountain, North Carolina.
The project is supported by the State of North Carolina, which provides funding to establish an entirely new, state-of-the-art production facility.
With the goal of uniting four existing locations located in North Carolina and Indiana, the locations are expected to create new growth opportunities across Actega's lines of business.
Actega's new facility will occupy a larger 238,000 square feet site, double the space of ACTEGA's four North American locations combined.
The relocation will take place in the second quarter of 2024 and, once completed, all ink technology development will take place under one roof, creating a new level of synergy for R+D, technical service and quality control.
The move demonstrates Actega's commitment to the market, investing in state-of-the-art technology and providing exceptional customer service. Customers will also benefit from a dedicated Experience Center, designed for both flexographic printing presses and rod coaters.
With its expansive size, the new building will be the perfect platform for Actega to expand the production and operations of its flexible packaging, metal packaging and paper and board business line.
The state-of-the-art pigment dispersion process, along with other advanced technologies used at the facility, ensures that the company remains at the forefront of producing high-quality products.
