Mexico. The National Association of Paint and Ink Manufacturers (Anafapyt) will hold the first talk of the year entitled "Effects of solvents on health and use of personal protective equipment", to be held on March 22.
From 11:00 to 13:00 this conference is planned, which has the support of the Mexican Institute of Technicians in Paints and Inks (IMTPyT).
"For IMTPyT and ANAFAPYT it is very important to have a safe industry, so this year we will be giving online talks on industrial safety and the best handling of some hazardous materials," says the Association in the invitation to the event.
The conference will be given by Marina Estevez Gallardo, Technical Business Development Manager for Latin America of Aditya Birla Group.
Marina Estevez has 30 years of experience in the paint and ink market. During her career, Marina has worked in leading companies in this market segment such as Du Pont, Bayer de México, El Nervión Pinturas, BYK Chemie, Corporación Mexicana de Polímeros, Eastman and Univar de México.
Marina is a chemical engineer from the Autonomous Metropolitan University, with training in resins, additives, pigments, paint and ink formulation. She has been an active member of Anafapyt since 1995 and a member of the Mexican Institute of Chemical Engineers.
