Colombia. Pintuco announces that its Water-Based Epoxy Paint received the GreenGuard Gold certification granted by UL Environment, which validates this product as low VOC emission, becoming the first Colombian paint to have this certificate.
"We are very proud to have obtained this certification, as it is another step on the path we decided to undertake in favor of sustainability. We have a strategy, and under it we are complying with the actions that make our processes and products increasingly friendly and protect the health of applicators and consumers, "says Juan Carlos Moreno, president of Pintuco.
The products that have this appointment can be used in construction projects that seek to be certified in LEED V4 or V4.1 or EDGE.
Pintuco highlights that this Water-Based Epoxy paint contributes to making the interiors of the buildings healthier, since in its elaboration it goes through strict verifications of chemical materials, demonstrating that it has a zero or low content of these compounds and that they do not represent a danger to health.
It should be noted that the GreenGuard Gold certification is international and necessary for coatings used in constructions that apply to certifications such as Leed or EDGE in their latest versions.
