Latin America. Dow announced Verónica Pérez as the new director for the Industrial Solutions business in Latin America, and Leonardo Censoni as the new commercial director for the Polyurethanes business in Latin America, who have collaborated for more than 20 years in the company.
Verónica Pérez, as the new commercial director for the Industrial Solutions business in Latin America, will be responsible for leading the business strategy in geography, managing financial results and putting the main focus on the development of initiatives that aim at growth in the markets of paints and coatings, formulation of agrodefensives, bioethanol, lubricants, cleaning, gas and oil, mining, fuel additives, as well as paper and cellulose. Veronica assumes the position held until then by Ana Carolina Haracemiv, who will hold the position of commercial director for Dow's Polyurethanes business for EMEAI (Europe Middle East, Africa and India).
With more than 20 years of experience in various areas, Pérez joined Dow in Mexico in 1995, where he held various positions for the specialty packaging and plastics business. In 2007, Veronica was transferred to Brazil, where she assumed the position of product and marketing manager for Specialty Packaging and Plastics, an area of which she was director from 2010. In 2012, she was appointed global marketing manager for elastomers, a position she held from the United States, and in 2014 she returned to Mexico as sales director for the Industrial Solutions and Polyurethanes businesses.
Leonardo Censoni as the new commercial director for the Polyurethanes business in Latin America, will be responsible for the financial results of the area in the Region, the conduct of the business strategy and the development of value generation initiatives that drive the growth of the business in the segments of mattresses and pillows, footwear, furniture, construction, cold chain, industrial, automotive and consumer, which are considered strategic for the growth of the company in the Region.
The executive assumes the position so far occupied by Ana Carolina Haracemiv, who will serve as commercial director for Dow's polyurethanes business for Europe, the Middle East, Russia, Africa and India; who will move to Switzerland. Censoni joined Dow in 1998 as a polyurethane seller. He was subsequently senior account manager for South America and in 2012 assumed the position of commercial director of Dow Automotive Systems for the Region. Since 2017, he is product manager, also in the area of Polyurethanes.
