International. Evonik recently announced the launch of a new product belonging to its Tego line. Tego Dispers 687 is a new dispersant specially developed to moisten and disperse matting agents in solvent-based coatings.
The Tego Dispers 687 helps achieve coating characteristics such as excellent anti-sedimentation and consistent matte values.
This product is suitable for semi-gloss and matte wood coatings, in addition it expands the application window by greatly reducing the sedimentation tendency of the tinting agents, even when the paint is diluted over a period of time.
Tego Dispers 687 is especially suitable for untreated sterilization agents that have good transparency but high sedimentation tendency. Due to its excellent anti-sedimentation property, it allows users to decrease or eliminate the use of anti-sedimentation additives in their formulation, which is advantageous for the development of highly transparent matte coatings.
