Colombia. A total of 50 painters of the pilot in certification of Labor Competencies in the Standard Advanced level - Perform coating in architectural painting according to plans and specifications, graduated on September 12 in the city of Cali.
Pintuco explained that this certification is given after a process in which a person endorses knowledge based on a Labor Competence Standard at the national level and in which candidates present theoretical, written and performance tests where it is validated if they are suitable to perform any type of indoor painting application, exterior, metals or woods. The hourly intensity was about two months.
Thanks to this initiative, painters can expand their resume and therefore achieve better job opportunities. In addition, it becomes a professional and personal achievement, as it is the first time that many receive a diploma.
For 5 years Pintuco forged this alliance with the aim of providing spaces for learning and technical knowledge to Fans, as well as developing skills beyond painting. Thus, its painters can access courses in pre-finishes, basic in construction, facades, waterproofing, among others, and in the area of entrepreneurship in business skills, customer service, assertive communication, etc.
