Chile. Recently, the Renner Herrmann group, from Brazil, has just inaugurated its new industrial paint plant in the commune of Pudahuel. In the new facility, where 120 people work today, the company produces a complete range of industrial paints and coatings and has a laboratory dedicated to research and development, which adds agility in the generation of new technologies for the target market.
The company has 11 factories on three continents, operating in 80 countries, either in the production of paints and industrial coatings, such as paints and varnishes for wood, having in Chile two factories that represent this action, such as the plants of Renner Coatings in the commune of Pudahuel and Renner Sayerlack in the commune of Lampa, respectively.
The Renner Herrmann group was founded in Brazil in 1927 and with 91 years of tradition in the manufacture of paints, it is today a relevant world player in high-performance paints and coatings, through its own know-how and with international technological cooperation agreements. Among the agreements are Chugoku Marine Paints, from Japan (marine paints); Bergolin, from Germany (protective paints of windmill blades); VersaFlex, USA (coatings for industrial walls and floors).
The history of the company in Chile began in 1993, with Pinturas Renner Chile S.A. and was consolidated after the purchase of Pinturas Creizet, in 2011, leader of the production of intumescent paint and Pinturas Cerrillos in 2012, a company with a large participation in the industrial market and salmon aquaculture. "It is more than 25 years of a very positive experience in the Chilean market, where Renner Coatings presents an upward curve," says Francisco Estades, general manager of Renner Coatings Chile SpA.
Renner Coatings is a division of the Renner Herrmann S.A. group, focused on high-performance solutions for the Protective, Performance, Marine and Decorative Coatings businesses.
Francisco Estades indicates that "the Renner group bet on Chile because it is a growing country, economically solid. That is why it invested in a modern, high-tech plant, with an emphasis on safety and care for the environment."
The executive indicates that "today we have the necessary skills to respond positively to the requirements that the Chilean industry is demanding, especially to increase productivity." At this point, Francisco Estades highlights new paints, with Fast track technology, which are applied in fewer hands and dry faster, all of which translates into a shorter commissioning time of, for example, a mining machinery or a fishing boat.
