Mexico. Axalta held its 5th Annual Latin American Distributor Convention in Cancun, Quintana Roo, attended by more than 400 distributors and business partners from Mexico, Brazil and Central America.
During the event, which took place at the beginning of August, Axalta's global and regional leaders shared details about the new programs, projects and innovation implemented to meet the needs of their clients in Latin America.
Robert Bryant, Axalta's executive vice president and chief financial officer, presented an overview of the company and reinforced the importance of the Latin American region in the company's growth plan worldwide. He also reaffirmed Axalta's commitment to Latin America and emphasized the company's plans to continue investing in technology, innovation and personnel in the region.
"Axalta has more than 7 decades operating in Latin America with the philosophy of providing the best customer service and supporting the growth of our partners through training programs for master painters, providing them with tools to offer a better service and increase their productivity," said Bryant.
For his part, Daniel Salcido, president of Axalta Latin America North and vice president of the Refinish business for Latin America, commented: "We have a solid commercial team, a strong business strategy and the highest quality and innovation in products and services, as well as the support of Axalta's global team, which allows us to continue growing and maintain our leadership position in Latin America."
