Axalta Coating Systems announced that it was recognized by Quality Systems Registrars Inc., with THE RC 14001-2015 Certification, for excellence in Axalta's processes, technologies and initiatives in 32 plants in major cities around the world, including all three with operations in Mexico.
The company explained that being managed by chemical associations from more than 60 countries, to monitor attention to the environment, health and safety in companies, the RC 14001-2015 Certification is an outstanding achievement for them, combining elements of Responsible Care of the American Council on Chemistry (ACC), with the standards of the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System.
A decisive part of achieving the RC 14001-2015 Certification was the performance of the three Axalta Coating Systems Mexico plants, located in Apodaca, Nuevo León and in Ocoyoacac and Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico, the latter being endorsed by Ford Motors Company with its Q1 Quality Certification in 2017.
