United States. Henkel announced that it has invested in a U.S.-based advanced materials commissioning of NBD Nanotechnologies (Nano NBD).

NBD Nano is an advanced material commissioning with expertise in adjusting surface properties such as repellency or adhesion. Through its patented platform technology, the company is creating additives for plastics and coatings that provide customized surface solutions that are durable and adaptable.
NBD Nano's technology can be used in multiple applications, from consumer and electronics to automobiles. Its product offering includes RepelShell coating additives that provide excellent water repellency for automotive glass, and DirtBlock coatings that significantly reduce dirt absorption in solar modules or architectural glass in buildings.
