We are strongly committed to developing solutions that meet the current demands of our customers, as well as global trends in the paint sector. In addition, we have a broad portfolio that allows our customers to reduce the environmental impact of their operations and products.
During Abrafati 2017, the company presented some solutions:
- The first neutralizing agent for water-based paints, free of VOC / SVOC and based on renewable raw materials and free of labels: new Genamin Gluco 50, which received the EcoTain seal thanks to its excellence in sustainability.
- The new stabilizers, pioneers in facilitating the application of mineral paints without agrotoxics: Dispersogen SPS and Dispersogen SPG, which received the EcoTain seal thanks to their excellence in sustainability.
- Exolit AP 435, a non-halogenated flame retardant, which prolongs the life of water-based intumescent coatings, without affecting fire protection properties. Coatings containing Exolit AP 435 have stability and low viscosity, even in cold environments and after a long period of storage, offering consumers greater flexibility in construction beds.
- The AddWorks IBC 251, which has high electrostatic charge capacity, as well as protection against light and heat. Ideal for a wide variety of resins, such as polyester and polyester/epoxy, among others.
- Hostavin TB-03 is a synergistic combination of a high-performance UV absorber and a light stabilizer (HALS), which meets the strictest requirements for high-performance coatings. The Hostavin TB-03 is mainly characterized by its high compatibility with both water-based and solvent-based coatings (complete solutions). It is recommended for all types of long-exposure transparent or pigmented coatings, as well as for various applications, such as transparent automotive coatings, coatings for plastics, coil coatings and final wood coating (top coat).
- Licocare RBW is a new family of rigid waxes based on renewable raw materials. Their diversified properties make the waxes of this family ideal for a wide variety of applications, such as coatings and inks, polishing, home care, agricultural coatings and plastics processing.
- Coloring: the Hostatint A 100-ST line with nine highly transparent, non-halogenated and ready-to-use pigment preparations, offering the full chromatic spectrum for solvent-based ink systems. In addition, hostatint UV offers a full range of easy-to-use, high-performance dyes for UV-cured wood cladding, catering to the trend of colored UV systems.
- Immersion in the colors of the automotive inks of the future, with the launch of Clariant's Automotive Styling Shades 2019 Trendbook.
- EcoTain - certified products present an excellent sustainability profile. Clariant's EcoTain seal is only awarded to products identified as best in the category in terms of excellence in performance and sustainability for customers. Products are selected based on 36 criteria covering social, environmental and economic aspects.
