Colombia. The Orbis Group recently reported that through its subsidiary Pintuco S.A. it constituted a company called Oceanic Paints S.A.S., with address in the city of Medellín.
The purpose of this new company is to produce and market paints and complementary for the automotive industry in Latin America. Pintuco's commitment, according to its official statement, with this new company, is to consolidate itself in this sector, using new technologies that will allow efficient results to be obtained; complying with the strictest international standards on the composition of the
painting and emission of pollutants.
Orbis also reported that the company was incorporated with a capital of $10 million pesos (about US$3,300).
The Orbis Group recently received recognition in the Top of human capital-companies with the most collaborators with PHD, in which it tops the list with eight linked to its organization, followed by Grupo Nutresa S.A (six PHD), and third Bayer S.A (six PHD).
These results are part of the ranking of the most innovative companies in Colombia, the first survey that measures the state of business innovation in the country, carried out by Dinero Magazine.
