Mexico. Eastman announced that it will present two product lines for the global paints and coatings industry during the Anafapyt-LACS that will take place from June 20 to 22 in Mexico City.
In order to balance the performance and regulatory compliance that is constantly changing within the world of coatings, Eastman offers these neutralizing amines. These products offer solutions to formulators to meet VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) standards.
"Formulators appreciate these neutralizing amines for their ease of processing, hydrolytic stability, low odor and VOC. Using Vantex-T and Advantex along with Eastman's coalescing technologies, Texanol and Optifilm 300, formulators have the right tools to strike the desired balance between excellent performance and regulatory compliance," said Marcos Basso, Product and Market Development Manager at Eastman.
Product Line:
- Eastman Texanol is a premier coalescing for latex paints, which provides a high level of film integrity at low levels of coalescence, and improves paint performance properties including low temperature coalescence, retouching, wash resistance, color development, thermal flexibility and cracking resistance.
- The Optifilm 300 enhancer is an efficient, low-odor, low-toxicity coalescing for latex paints. Its compatibility, easy incorporation and hydrolytic stability allow its use in a wide range of latex types. Suitable for many architectural applications, it is especially suitable for low-odor paints and low-gloss walls.
- Vantex-T is a multifunctional neutralizing amine that allows formulators to create eco-friendly, low-odor, low-VOC paints and coatings.
- Advantex is a cost-effective, multifunctional neutralizing amine that improves the low-odor profile of architectural coatings while improving performance through pigment dispersion, emulsion stability, and syneresis control.
In addition, Eastman will offer a coating formulation conference on how to achieve high performance, while achieving sustainability goals and regulatory compliance.
