Chemtura has announced that Azelis Americas will be the sole distributor of its Great Lakes Solutions flame retardant products in the United States and Canada.
This will cover the complete portfolios of brominated flame retardant and phosphorus products in combination with antimony and synergist and will take effect on 1 February 2017. Chemtura will leave its flame retardant business relationship with Chempoint and Nexeo on January 31, 2017.
Great Lakes Solutions, Azelis, Chempoint and Nexeo are committed to ensuring a smooth transition for all customers and do not expect any disruption as a result of this change. In December, Chempoint & Nexeo contacted all current clients and provided them with a transition letter. Azelis has also proactively initiated contact with customers to ease the transition.
