The U.S. company ChemSpec, a member of the Safic-Alcan Group family of companies, announced that it has formed a subsidiary that will serve the Mexican industrial manufacturing sector.
Chemspec Mexico will be headquartered outside of Mexico City, and will provide sales and technical support for the elastomer composition industry, such as tire and technical rubber production. It will also support the other Mexican market segment known as "C.A.S.E." (coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers and plastics).
ChemSpec Mexico will offer, throughout all regions of Mexico, a large part of its product portfolio of chemical additives of basic and special products, and special polymers.
ChemSpec, in order to support this new office, hired Manuel Cortés, who will be the director of marketing and sales for ChemSpec Mexico. Manuel comes to Chemspec with deep experience in rubber and other forms of industrial composition production. Manuel has both an undergraduate and postgraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, and has also worked in polymer testing, production and sales for over twenty years.
