The company Comex, belonging to PPG, said that commercial procedures are being carried out under its name that the company has not authorized, as it showed in an official statement published on its website.
Comex informed its customers that "in relation to the ads recently published on digital platforms such as Viva Anuncios, where vans are offered on behalf of Comex, we want to clarify that the company does NOT perform, under any circumstances, these sales techniques."
Comex recalls that the only authorized channel through which it sells its products is the model of Authorized Dealers (the Comex Stores). The company does not have any marketing scheme through the internet or digital platforms.
The company made a careful warning to the general public to take their precautions and avoid being affected by this type of fraudulent practices.
