Axalta Coatings Systems announced the acquisition of High Performance Coating, a refinish coatings company located in Southeast Asia. The acquisition will strengthen Axalta's ability to serve customers in the refinish region with additional product offerings and an expanded sales and service network.
The acquisition of High Performance Coating expands Axalta's product portfolio further and will allow us to offer a much wider range of products and value propositions to our customers," said Sobers Sethi, Axalta's vice president for South and East Asia. "Axalta's technology and systems, along with the manufacture of High Performance Coating and its distribution network, will not only allow us to serve existing customers but will also give us the opportunity to serve customers in other markets in the region."
"In the future, High Performance Coating will continue to maintain its current products under its own brands," Sethi explained.
