Through an official statement, Pintuco confirmed that it will be the exclusive distributor of International Paint, a strategic unit of Akzo Nobel, in the Peruvian territory.
Pintuco began commercial operations in Peru seeking approaches with the most representative industries such as oil and gas, mining, energy, high-value infrastructure in steel, chemistry, water, among others.
In the portfolio are coatings produced at Pintuco's® plants in Colombia and Ecuador under the manufacturing license agreement that is currently in place, and some products will be imported directly from the United States from the International Paint production center.
International Paint comprises coatings for marine and industrial protection, with internationally recognized products that allow their specification in outstanding industry projects:
• High value infrastructure: with coating systems for the protection of bridges, commercial facilities, sports facilities, among others.
• Mining: protection of assets involved in mining extraction and refinement processes that are exposed to high levels of corrosion.
• Oil and gas: include drilling, production and storage platforms, subsea equipment, production and storage facilities, and refineries.
• Chemical industry: industry facilities to protect the assets involved in their production processes.
• Energy: to protect the assets and facilities of the centers of production or transport of energies from different sources such as wind, hydroelectric, nuclear, etc.
• Water: for facilities involved in the treatment, storage and transport of drinking water and wastewater.
