After carrying out the corresponding inspection of the Fibraplast facilities by NTI (New Waterproofing Techniques) the Spanish company Nuevas Técnicas Impermeabilizantes recommended and proceeded to carry out a work of sanitation and painting hardener and anti dust on the existing concrete base.
The company prepared the surface of 1,200 m2 by diamond, sanding and vacuuming to later repair and regularize cracks and chipping using repair putty and epoxy mortar.
With the surface repaired they proceeded to paint it, applying a first layer with epoxy-water adherent primer to seal and thus facilitate the adhesion of the two layers of finish with water-based bicomponent epoxy paint.
The treated surfaces were protected with a hardening and anti-dust coating, consolidating the concrete base, waterproof and suitable for the manufacture of injection parts.
In the metal structures they applied a passive fire protection (Ppci) consisting of perlite and vermiculite insulating mortar and its subsequent painting of walls and horizontal signage of the facilities.
