Croda Brasil, part of Croda International Plc, announced the opening of a new distribution center in Campinas/Sao Paulo.
With an investment of nearly $4 million reais, the new distribution center (DC) is part of a five-year plan to meet the growing demands of its customers, both in Brazil and throughout Latin America.
Located near its plant in Campinas and the Viracopos International Airport, Croda's new CD will centralize all its logistics operations, providing greater support to its customers through more efficient processes. With this investment, which doubles its storage capacity, the company demonstrates its commitment to the region and its customers, as it will reduce its response time within 24 hours.
Croda admits that the new CD meets the strict national and international quality standards of the sector, which includes not only the storage of the products, but also the transport - both in the reception and in the exit of the goods. In the design and construction of this new center, investments have also been made to reduce the environmental impact of the facility, including the application of an intelligent LED lighting system, which detects movement and aims to reduce energy consumption. These initiatives are aligned with the values of the company's sustainability program, and its concern for the continuous improvement of its social and environmental responsibility actions.
