With the theme "The future we build", the 88th ENIC (National Meeting of the Construction Industry) was an important forum for the discussion of the situation of the sector and future prospects.
Held from May 11 to 13, the event was attended by more than 1,000 business and industry leaders, including Dilson Ferreira, Executive Chairman of Abrafati.
The economic and political scenarios and the prospects for concessions and public-private partnerships were presented and discussed in three large panels, with the participation of economists, political scientists and political leaders such as the governors of Sao Paulo and Paraná, Geraldo Alckmin, and Beto Richa, respectively.
In addition, the program included a series of lectures and debates on more specific topics in the technical committees and forums coordinated by CBIC (Brazilian Chamber of the Construction Industry).
"Everyone recognizes that the current situation is complex, but we see a window of opportunity for improvement with the country under michel Temer. There is moderate optimism and different segments of the construction chain have several proposals to present to the government," said Dilson Ferreira.
