ASTM International announced that it has published the 5th edition of the ASTM Standards on Microbiology in Materials and Environment. The edition has 150 mycriobiological standards in a collection, covering the standards of 24 committees and 27 volumes of the ASTM Standards book.
Developed in cooperation with the E35 Committee on Pesticides, Antimicrobials, and Alternative Control Agents, the compilation includes access through MyASTM or by subscription and includes historical, retired, and red-line versions of standards related to:
General and microscopic methodology
Methods for the detection of specific microorganisms
Human Contact and Public Health
Water and Food
Protection of materials and processes using preservatives or biocides
