From May 27 to 30, a training in "Qualification supervisors in coating application" will be held in the city of Bogotá.
The event, organized by the Colombian Association of Protection and Corrosion, (Ascor), aims to train and qualify personnel in charge of the supervision processes in surface treatment activities and application of coatings in order to execute these activities according to standards and technical norms.
Some of the topics of the course are Fundamentals of basic corrosion in metal surfaces. Surface preparation processes and applicable technical standards. Techniques for the application of liquid coatings. Handling and maintenance of equipment to apply coatings by spray method. Quality control for coating application processes. Optimization in the management of resources during the stages of surface preparation and application of coatings. Strategies in human resource management. Administrative techniques for work reports. Industrial safety in coating application processes.
This meeting is aimed at supervisors and foremen who are currently working in supervision and management activities of personnel dedicated to surface treatment and surface preparation processes.
