The Spanish company Adapta Powder Coatings developed powder coatings that in their design incorporate tracers that can be tracked. These markers, when irradiated with energy of a certain wavelength, absorb it to later emit it in a different section of the electromagnetic spectrum, which allows them to be identified with appropriate decoders.
With the incorporation of these technologies it can be ensured that the paint specifications marked for the product are strictly followed, being able to know if the selected or prescribed coating has been the one finally used. Even to go even further, if the selected functionality of the paint is present in the products, especially in those intrinsic characteristics difficult to observe with the naked eye, such as conductivity, resistance to microorganisms, etc.
These developed coatings represent an easy-to-implement, safe and very cost-effective solution, which allows a safe protection of the brand and avoids claims related to products not manufactured by your company or by products that do not fit the use for which they were developed.
The client collaborates jointly with the R&D&I Department in the analysis of the safety and traceability requirements of the products to reach a solution that satisfies the requested specifications.
The identification mechanisms are selected in the product development phase, being able to be visual or sound, visible or invisible tracking technology to infrared rays and personalized detection and tracking systems.
