More than 64 facades have been painted by the Orbis Foundation, in one of the neighborhoods of Medellín, as part of a program that seeks to give color to the new tram corridor that the city has.
With the owners, spaces for dialogue and concertation are being generated, which start from the selection of colors and evolve to the creation of aesthetic environments and conducive to coexistence in the Ayacucho sector.
As a result of this social management, to date 130 residents voluntarily signed the starting acts, documents that describe the range of colors chosen, the times in which the painting of the façade will be carried out and clarify the real scope of the intervention in their properties.
Simultaneously, socialization sessions and pedagogical tours have been carried out with different groups, activities that seek to recognize the territory, its structural transformations and its social, cultural and historical dynamics.
There are already 64 finished facades that took the tones of one of the four palettes with which this project pays tribute to the past and present of the corridor: Eternal Spring, Path of Flowers, Heritage of the Field and Horizon.
