. From May 4 to 6, the COATech 2016 exhibition will be held in Mexico City, specialized in solutions, technology and products for the industrial paint and coatings industry required by different manufacturing sectors.
In its ninth edition, the fair is presented as a national space specialized in powder painting, coatings and corrosion control in which companies from the field of paint application systems, industrial coatings, powder coatings application booths, recovery equipment, curing furnaces, dust collectors, technology for surface handling, participate, industrial washing, corrosion control and prevention, among others.
The fair is part of a sector that, in economic terms, in the global market of paints and coatings, has a value of US $ 121.9 billion in 2013 and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.5% during 2014 to 2020, to reach an estimated value of US $ 176.5 billion in 2020, according to the report published by Persistence Market Research.
In an official statement, Jorge Arizmendi, Director of the event, said that "with the phenomenon of urbanization and the growing market, both consumer and automobiles; the paints and coatings sector has benefited." In the case of Mexico, Anafapyt figures estimate an approximate value of 32,000 million pesos (2013), the result of the 713 million liters of paint that are produced, of which 400 million correspond to architectural painting; 137 million litres of manufactured paint; 89 million liters to slimming machines and 87 million liters to special purpose paints.
COATech will have the presence of hundreds of companies exhibiting in 22,000 m2 of exhibition. In addition, three more exhibitions will be held simultaneously, Weldmex, Metalform and Fabtech, which will be connected to each other with COATech facilitating all visitors to circulate freely through the more than 24,000 m² of exhibition that will add up in their entirety the four exhibitions.
