The Colombian Association of Corrosion Engineers (Acicor) confirmed the programming of the NACE Courses that will be taught during 2016.
From April 18 to 23, the first CP1 and CIP Level 1 course will be held. The first of these includes topics in basic electricity, electrochemistry and corrosion concepts, cathodic protection theory (CP), and CP field measurement techniques. This course provides theoretical knowledge and practical foundations for inspection and testing of galvanic and printed current CP systems. Participants will obtain their Cathodic Protection Tester certificate.
The second course provides the technical and practical foundations for coating inspection work on structural steel projects. The certificate will be as Coating Inspector Level 1.
