International. AkzoNobel, number one in the 2015 Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) has resulted in the company receiving the award for an Industry Leader, Gold Class distinction for its excellent sustainability performance.
The recognition also includes a list in the 2016 Sustainability Yearbook, which features the world's most sustainable companies as determined by their score on RobecoSAM's annual Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA).
The latest DJSI ranking was published last September, when AkzoNobel placed above its sector for the fourth consecutive year.
Published every year since 2004, the Sustainability Yearbook provides snapshots of the key trends, challenges and opportunities that bridge the gap between corporate sustainability and sustainability investing.
