International. PPG announced that it has been named the Sustainability Supplier of the Year by the Fiat Chrysler Automotive Group (FCA) for the Europe, Africa (EMEA) and Middle East region.
The FCA Group annually registers a long-term supplier with the award at the Qualitas Supplier Convention in Turin, Italy, then judged by a panel of FCA representatives. Among some 1,000 suppliers, the FCA Group selected PPG based on the satisfaction of rigorous criteria and exhibiting a long-term strategic commitment to a program of incorporation of environment, safety, social and economic sustainability.
"We have worked with FCA for many years to ensure our sustainability goals are aligned," said Jean-Marie Greindl, President, PPG Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and Vice President PPG, Automotive Coatings, EMEA. "We are honored that the company has recognized our effort. We look forward to continuing our partnership and developing new initiatives that support healthy environments, communities and economies."
PPG has been a global strategic partner for the FCA Group for more than 30 years, and both companies attach key strategic importance to sustainability efforts.
