International. The multinational The Chemours Company recently announced a worldwide increase in prices in all grades of Ti-Pure titation dioxide.
Operating since January 1, 2016, the net increase was US$150 per ton, and the price will apply to all grades of titanium dioxide sold in all regions.
Chemours Titanium Technologies is a company recognized for its titanium dioxide manufacturing, serving customers worldwide in the coatings, paper and plastics industries. The company operates plants in DeLisle, Miss.; New Johnsonville, Tennessee.; Altamira, Mexico; and Kuan Yin, Taiwan; all of which use the chloride manufacturing process.
The company also operates a mine in Starke, Florida, its technical service centers are located in Paulinia, Brazil. Mexico City, Mexico; Mechelen, Belgium; Kuan Yin, Taiwan; Shanghai, China; and Wilmington, Del., to serve markets in Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America.
