Mexico. In the Nuevo León region, the energy management solutions company, Schneider Electric, will open a new plant for assembly, manufacturing and painting processes.
The start of operations of this plant is planned for the last quarter of 2016. "We are building a new paradigm of energy efficiency, in which economic growth does not depend on an increase in energy consumption, but on the implementation of solutions that allow intelligent management through automation and monitoring," said the company's president, Enrique González Haas.
The executive also stressed that his company is ready to "continue building the best route to a safe energy future for all in Mexico, committing ourselves to grow and invest in the country."
According to the company, as part of its 70th anniversary, the strategy is to focus on using connectivity to drive sustainability, reliability and safety for customers.
In Mexico, this company currently has twelve plants, located mainly in regions such as Tijuana, Tlaxcala and Monterrey, and has invested around US$65 million in its Development and Research Center located in Apodaca, Nuevo León.
