United States. Eastern Michigan University (EMU) announced a new call to participate in the Master's program in Polymer and Coating Technologies.
The university explained that to be admitted it is required to possess a university degree in Chemistry or related areas, including courses in Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry and Instrumental Analysis. International students are required to present proficiency in English (TOEFL or similar).
The program covers topics such as polymer fundamentals, different types of technologies, water-based, UV curing and powder coatings; evaluation of paints and coatings, and many other topics including advanced and emerging technologies.
EMU's Coatings Research Institute (CRI) offers physical and instrumental resources to develop cutting-edge projects and technologies. Students have the opportunity to learn, interact and develop projects with prestigious professors of recognized international trajectory in industry and research. Likewise, students have the possibility of doing summer internships in recognized national and multinational companies of the American industry.
Additionally, the program has a variety of financial aid options available as well as employment opportunities for students within the university facilities.
