International. Axalta Coating Systems announced the launch of its new portfolio of powder coatings for outdoor and indoor use.
Alesta High Corrosion is a new generation of coatings designed with excellent film leveling, used in agricultural and construction machinery, heavy vehicles, electrical equipment, air conditioning and household appliances, with durability and transfer efficiency, allowing excellent coverage.
"Our new portfolio of coatings is capable of replacing two-layer processes with a single-layer process, with high corrosion resistance and a wide range of colors," explains Ricardo Abisambra, General Manager of Axalta Coating Systems Colombia.
Among its main advantages, we find an excellent resistance to corrosion since a single application is resistant to UV rays, being compatible with most pretreatment systems, saving energy and process cycle time and curing.
Likewise, this new portfolio is designed to meet the segments mentioned above, since its qualities can reach more than 3,000 hours or greater of resistance to salt spray chamber.
