International. Oxea announced the launch of the new product n-propanol (biocidal quality). It is designed for manufacturers who require basic materials that meet the requirement of the most recent European legislation for biocidal products, the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR).
Effective 1 September 2015, Article 95 of the Biocidal Products Regulation requires that the biocidal product consisting of, containing, or generating a relevant substance listed by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) may only be available on the US market if the supplier of substances or the supplier of the product appears on the BPR article 95 list, in which Oxea has already been listed as an active substance supplier for n-propanol by ECHA.
