Brazil. On 17th July Netzsch Moagem inaugurated its new plant, built in Bairro Testo Central, Pomerode. The plant of 9.5 thousand square meters built is three times higher than the previous structure and had an investment of $ 20 million reais (about US $ 6 million).
With the expansion of the area and the acquisition of new technologies, the company, which celebrates 10 years, brought together the processes before outsourcing and increased production capacity.
For the CEO of Netzsch Moagem, Giuliano Albiero, the implementation of the new facilities in a record time of ten months is a response to the divided forecasts that this year surround the Brazilian economy. "The Netzsch Group, from Alemanha, to which we are linked, reaffirms its confidence in our work and in the recovery of Brazil. We want to say that with this investment we are ready to resume."
To increase competitiveness, the company acquired new equipment to adapt it to the new plant. One of these was a drill to machine large parts (up to 12 kilos), which caused greater autonomy to processes with reduced costs. Until then, Netzsch had a smaller team (up to five thousand kilograms), and outsourced the greatest demands.
A new paint shop (25 square meters and five meters high) and a new large drying oven have been installed on the assembly line, while in the polyurethane (PU) division, the expansion of the area allowed the installation of a blasted steel jet and a dedicated oven (6 square meters) for the curing of the molded parts.
