Colombia. Azelis strengthened its presence in Latin America with the agreement to acquire Localpack S.A., a specialty chemicals distributor active in the life sciences and industrial chemicals segments in Colombia.
The acquisition represents a strategic expansion of the group's presence, consistent with its growth objectives in the region.
Localpack is one of the leading distributors of specialty chemicals in the domestic market. The company employs 27 people and operates an application lab near Medellín, serving customers throughout Colombia.
Localpack's long-standing relationships with global and regional directors, and the technical product expertise it has developed over the years, expand the Azelis lateral value chain throughout Latin America. This expansion will enable Azelis to better serve customers and accelerate its growth in the region.
