Brazil. Actega, a manufacturer of specialty coatings, inks, adhesives, sealants and compounds for the printing and packaging industries, has announced that it has completed the consolidation of its three Brazilian plants into a new 22,500-square-meter facility in Araçariguama, Sao Paulo.
The new general site will serve as a center for the company's administrative, production and R+D activities.
According to Actega, the production and research and development site is the result of a seven-million-dollar investment.
The company says the improved site will offer expanded production and research and development capabilities, allowing it to serve more customers in Brazil and South America and increase its market presence.
The company has also appointed Ronaldo Begnossi as Acega's managing director in Brazil to oversee the new site's operations in Brazil.
