North America. IMCD, a distributor, formulator and solution provider of specialty chemicals and ingredients, announces the relocation and opening of IMCD's new Coatings and Construction Laboratory serving customers throughout North America.
Located near the U.S. city of Philadelphia, the new 6400 square foot laboratory expands IMCD's technical capabilities to now include construction, in addition to its existing capabilities for industrial coatings, decorative paints and adhesives.
"The opening of IMCD's new Coatings and Construction Laboratory in the U.S. reinforces our dedication to serving our supplier and customer partners not only as distributors, but also as formulators and solution providers to drive innovation in the marketplace," said IMCD's Vice President of the Americas for Coatings and Construction. Müge Tamkan.
"This is just the beginning of future investments to enhance our services and technical capabilities in North America, furthering our commitment to adding sustainable value," added Tamkan.
IMCD's state-of-the-art Coatings and Construction Laboratory provides coast-to-coast formulation support for a wide range of coatings and construction applications throughout North America.
Key equipment available through the newly expanded laboratory includes, but is not limited to, rheometer, optical blood pressure monitor, bubble pressure blood pressure monitor, Taber abrasion, paint booth, bending and compression testing machine.
While the new facility adds a construction lab to the company's existing capabilities in North America, the space was designed to accommodate future investments in expanding IMCD's technical support in the printing ink, textile and paper industries.
