Colombia. The Colombian Association of Corrosion and Protection (Ascor) concluded training and certification for interveners in the application of industrial coatings on June 3 in Bogotá.
During the course, topics such as corrosion fundamentals on metal surfaces, technology in industrial coatings for corrosion control, methods of application of industrial coatings and regulations in surface preparation, among others, were discussed, in addition to practical workshops on handling and evaluation of coatings.
This training was attended by companies such as Corrosion Pipeline Services (CPS), Estahl Ingeniería, ATP Ingenieria, Pinturial and Indupintar, and is aimed at QA/QC engineers, intervening engineers, coating inspectors, and technicians specialized in quality assurance in coating application processes.
