Argentina. From June 24 to 28, 2019, the Professional Colorist course will be held by the Ibero-American Technological Association of Paints, Adhesives and Inks (Atipat) in Buenos Aires, with the aim of training laboratory personnel to perform the work of color adjustments with greater efficiency.
This course will be held in person, at a cost of USD 700, with theoretical and practical classes taught by professionals of recognized trajectory in the industry, with materials and instruments of current use in the market, thus offering an overview with a practical approach, while favoring the use of a common language in the industry.
The course program includes classes on Color Theory, Characteristics and Properties of Various Pigments, a laboratory practice, and use of instrumentation such as spectrophotometers, and color preparation and adjustment software. It also includes a visual acuity test to distinguish colors, which is not mandatory. The final exam of each module will be taken.
The schedules will be from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm during the five days of the course. The theoretical classes will be held at the Atipat headquarters in Calle Simbrón 5756 C.A.B.A., while the practices will be at the INTI headquarters.
