LumiLor Light Emitting Coating
LumiLor is a patented electroluminescent paint that allows you to design with light in previously impossible shapes, visible at long distances, which shines through different types of atmospheric conditions such as fog, snow and smoke. It can be applied to almost any 3D object and emits light when an electric current passes through it.
Unlike other light sources, such as LEDs, the brightness of LumiLor is distributed throughout the coating and is clearly visible from all viewing angles, meaning that any object painted with LumiLor can be turned on and off like a light bulb.
For the application of this coating, the same skills are required for the application of other professional grade coatings with an HVLP (high volume / low pressure) system. This is a four-layer system and includes processes and specifications that are unique to your patents. It takes three to five hours to apply all layers.
LumiLor appears in a shade of gray, similar to an automotive primer, when turned off. The final layers (airbrushing, dyed transparent layers, colored top layers, hydrography, etc.) can be used to alter the appearance of LumiLor to create the desired effect.
