Eastman
Eastman, presents the trēva bioplastic, a novel advance that helps brands meet their sustainability and performance needs, its benefits are based on three axes: sustainability, final result, as well as design and adaptability for each brand.
The composition of TREVA is half cellulose, which is obtained exclusively from trees that are part of regulated and certified sustainable forests. The new material is free of Bisphenol and Phthalate.
Its excellent flow rate, durability and dimensional stability allow to use less material, develop thinner parts, giving greater life to the product and improving its useful life.
They also allow freedom of design, allowing its use with complicated parts and in the filling of thin parts. Under recommended processing conditions, recent thin-walled 30 mm spiral flow tests show that TRĒVA flow rates are significantly better than polycarbonate and polycarbonate/ABS mixtures, and are comparable to acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS).
TREVA is designed to allow greater surface shine, transparency and warm touch to the touch.
