Colombia. The new president of the painting firm, Pintuco, is Juan Carlos Moreno Chamorro, who was elected by the Board of Directors of the Orbis Group, and who since February 6 assumes his new role in the company.
Moreno Chamorro is a Mechanical Engineer from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana with an MBA from EAFIT and has more than 25 years of professional experience, both nationally and internationally. The first stage of his career was carried out in Productos Familia Sancela, between 1997 and 2003, where he held positions such as: Plant Manager, International Market Manager, Regional Manufacturing Director, General Manager of the operation in Chile, among others.
Likewise, he has had a very close experience in the retail sector, a channel that he knew from the Management of Sancela in Chile and has worked with almost all the retailers in Central America and local. He also has experience in models of his own stores. Between 2013 and 2016 he was General Manager of Brinsa and until recently he served as Corporate Commercial Business Manager at Familia Sancela.
Grupo Orbis also confirmed that Rodolfo Bayona Plata will continue as President of the Orbis Group leading the other three businesses of the Group: Comercio (Mundial S.A.S.), Aguas (O-tek) and Químicos (Andercol). Both presidents report to the Group's Board of Directors.
Juan Carlos Moreno receives a business with a presence in 11 countries in the region, 2,500 employees, with powerful brands, seven production plants and a consolidated work team, focused on its three main businesses: Architectural, Construction and Retail.
