A stone-like façade is now possible with texturizing coating based on VESTAMELT, an additive polyamide 12 (PA 12) or Evonik's 12 VESTOSINT polyamide powder.
Whether in a stone or ceramic finish, sand yellow or natural grey, Evonik's PA 12 VESTAMELT or VESTOSINT powder transform conventional surfaces into decorated and functional structures.
Coating additives can be integrated into solvent-based curing coatings such as aqueous systems, either cold or hot. Surfaces treated with coatings based on VESTAMELT or VESTOSINT have high resistance to bending, flexibility and abrasion. They are also less susceptible to dirt and are easy to clean. Dust particles have a shock-absorbing effect and protect the surface from cracking.
The average particle size of additives is between 5 and 60 micrometers. To achieve unique surface structures, a combination of different dust particles can be used in a single application. This means that there are no design limitations on structures with surfaces based on powder coating PA 12 additives.
