Dow has announced Mauricio Bribiesca as the new Director of Public and Government Affairs for the Northern Region of Latin America that integrates Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, a position in which he will be responsible for relations with key external groups, as well as the management of the company's image and reputation. As of this year, he is in charge of leading relations with government, media, strategic planning of the area and community relations in the Region.
With more than 15 years of experience at Dow, Mauricio has a 360 knowledge of the company, with experience in customer service, logistics and knowledge of production processes; with which relationships from within will be strengthened. "This opportunity represents a great challenge for me. The objective will be, through a key function such as Public and Government Affairs, to improve our positioning both internally and externally, through the power of science and the passion that distinguishes us," shared Bribiesca.
Mauricio began his career at Dow in 2001 as a Customer Service Representative for the Polyethylene business and then Chemicals. In 2005 he was appointed Six Signa Black Belt Comercial for Performance Chemicals, and in 2008 he held the position of Supply Chain Improvement Specialist of Plastics where he performed different functions for the logistics and planning area in the Northern Region.
