Brazil. Sherwin Williams, Brazil's division, announced its new marketing director for the South American country. This is Daniel Blumen, who assumed his duties since January 19 and who has more than 20 years of experience in the area in question.
Blumen has worked at Boehringer Ingelheim, Wyeth, Pfizer and Merck Group. At the beginning of his career, in 1994, the executive worked at the company Boehringer Ingelheim and reached the position of product manager. In 2002, he took over Wyeth's product management and, as of 2010, innovation and new business management at Pfizer.
Already in 2013, Daniel began operating at Merck Group as marketing director Brazil of the consumer health division. Trained in Social Communication (1993), Marketing from ESPM (1997) and an MBA in Strategic Management from FEA/USP (2001), Daniel assumed the new role of marketing director of Sherwin-Williams Paints at the Taboão da Serra factory. "At Sherwin-Williams Paints my goal is to innovate in products and innovate in the commercialization of paints, bringing integrated solutions at the point of sale, which plays an essential role. We will work hard so that marketing and the commercial area have a great synergy.
