International. Hempel A/S has announced that its CEO Pierre-Yves Jullien will be succeeded by Henrik Andersen, Chief Operating Officer of ISS A/S Group, effective March 1, 2016.
Henrik Andersen has worked at ISS A/S since 2000 and starting in 2011 as a Member of the Executive Board, first as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), since 2013 as EMEA Chief Operating Officer (COO) and after a recent change, he was appointed to his current position as Group Chief Operating Officer (COO) globally.
Before returning to Copenhagen in 2011, Henrik spent 7 years in the UK as CFO and in 2008-2011 as CEO of ISS UK and its 43,000 employees. During his tenure, ISS UK grew from GBP 500 million to GBP 925 million in turnover and profits more than doubled.
ISS A/S is one of the world's largest management service providers with over 500,000 employees, operations in 77 countries and revenues of DKK 74 billion (Danish kroner) in 2014 and has grown into a truly global organization with operations and customers in Europe, Asia, the Pacific and the Americas. Prior to joining iss A/S, Henrik spent over 10 years with Jyske Bank. Henrik holds a Master of Laws from Aarhus University and a Diploma in International Finance from Aarhus Business School. Henrik has been a Non-Executive Director of the Board of Vestas A/S since 2013, where he is Chairman of the Audit Committee and holds a position as a Member of the Investment Committee of Maj Invest PE IV.
