Anti-corrosion system

altDuPont has developed a new water-based, low-VOC coating, a Teflon-based solution for fasteners in high-corrosion environments.


This easy-to-operate single-layer system is particularly suitable for applications where high corrosion resistance, dry lubrication and non-stick properties are required to prevent seizures.

The new Teflon-based coating system is free of heavy metals, its VOC content is below 0.36 g / l, and no special solvents are needed for cleaning and thinning, only water. Thanks to ptfe's low coefficient of friction less torque to tighten is required.

Typical applications are screws and bolts made of substrates such as carbon steel, special steels and aluminum, used in resources to extract gas and oil, industrial chemicals or in water treatment plants.
