AGC Chemicals Americas Inc, has developed the fluropolymer film Fluon ETFE, which has the characteristics of transparency, anti-adhesion, insulation properties, and resistance to heat, chemicals and climate.
Fluon fluoropolymer film was recently used for the retractable roof at Singapore's new National Stadium, which has a capacity of 55,000.
The Fluon ETFE was also used at Russia's Fisht Stadium in Sochi for the winter games, at the Allianz Arena in Munich and at the Arena Pernambuco in Brazil where matches of the 2014 World Cup Brazil were held.
