Kruss has developed the MSA (Mobile Surface Analyzer), a new moving surface analyzer. Which delivers wettability measurements based on the angle of contact with two test liquids simultaneously and automatically using the "One-Click SFE" method.
In just seconds there will be reliable values for both contact angles, in addition to the surface free energy and its polar part. The results allow for well-founded claims about the wettability of organic or aqueous liquids, e.g. for coating processes.
Simultaneous dosing and analysis of the two drops eliminates the need to change the test fluid during material testing. Two parallel droplets are dosed within milliseconds, with high precision volume and minimal kinetic energy.
In addition, it has an alternative dosing solution for liquids that require cleaning effort such as adhesives, inks or paints. Portable use and USB connection, low weight and small in size, the MSA is designed for mobile uses and non-destructive quality control.
